Our youth group is going skiing at Paoli Peaks, Indiana!  We will meet at the church at 4 pm on February 25th and take the church bus out to the slopes.  We will arrive in Paoli at around 8pm, get checked in to the motel, put on our ski equipment and ski all night!   We will return to Richmond on Sunday afternoon the following day.  It should be a lot of fun.  If you are interested in going, please let Joel know. The season of Lent is quickly approaching.  This season is a time of spiritual renewal and preparation for Easter.  Along those lines, our church is happy to present a weekly series of lenten lunches.  These lunches will be a time to share in some soup and a devotional with others in our church and in our community.  It is a great way to prepare your soul for the easter celebration.  The lunches will be held every Thuesday during lent and things will start off at noon in the fellowship hall.  We hope to see youi all there!

Some of our youth are starting the process of becoming church members by attending a confirmation class.  In this class, these young people will learn about what it means to be a Christian, what it means to be a Presbyterian and what it means to be a member of Richmond First Presbyterian specifically.  This class will run on Wednesday afternoon from January 25th until Easter Sunday where those who have successfully completed the class will be given the opportunity to join the church.  Please keep these young people in your prayers as they learn about our church and prayerfully consider joining.

Ash Wednesday Service

Join us for a kick off to the lenten season.  We will have an ash Wednesday service on Feb. 22nd.  This service will be in conjunction with our regular Church Family Night programming.  Things will start at 6:00 with supper.  Hope to see you there!
